Our Charities
He felt the good Lord blessed him when he gave to others. For this reason he gave so impulsively. He always
felt his talent was given to him as a gift from the Lord. He felt he should share that gift with others, whether
through his voice or through monetary means. He gave for the joy and self-satisfaction that stemmed from
giving.

Our fan club is not only dedicated to promoting and preserving the image of Elvis and his music, movies
and works in a respectful manner, but also to carry on his legacy through charitable efforts.
All funds generated by the Tupelo Elvis Presley Fan Club, with the exception of club expenses, have
been, and will be used for charitable purposes. The selection of appropriate charities is voted on by
active fan club members.
Our fan club members have donated their time and money creating a cookbook with recipes, photos and
facts about Elvis. Funds generated from the sale of the cookbook have been used to donate to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital, Tupelo Regional Rehabilitation Center and the March of Dimes.
Our members have collected hundreds of items, which were taken to Graceland to be donated to
Presley Place.
We created an annual $1,000 college scholarship for a deserving youth pursuing a music career.
We co-sponsored the local Elvis Festival, which included the tribute artist contest. We also created a
military themed float for the festival parade, with Brandon Bennett as Elvis in an Army uniform.
The City of Tupelo recently completed the new memorial at Veteran's Park near The Birthplace. The park
was paid for by generous donations. Our club purchased a paver with Elvis' name and military rank and
years, with his Army photo published in the commemorative program included in the local newspaper
the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal.
Our club has recently been approved by the Mississippi Legislature to issue the first and only Elvis
license plate. We are awaiting approval from EPE on the art. Our club will receive a portion of the sale
price of this specialty tag. We will use the funds to benefit charities in the name of Elvis.
